The Chairperson and a whole-time member of IRDA shall not be allotted any house for residence; says Govt.

The Govt. has amended the IRDA (Salary Allowances payable to, and other terms and conditions of service of Chairperson and other members) Rules, 2000. As per the amended rules the pay of the Chairperson and a whole-time member hiked to Rs. 4,50,000 per month earlier it was Rs. 3,75,000 amp; 3,12,500 per month respectively. Further, the Chairperson and a whole-time member of IRDA shall not be allotted any house for residence.
