Setting up of makeshift hospitals and temporary COVID Care facilities are now eligible as CSR activity: MCA

MCA has clarified that spending of CSR funds for Setting up of Makeshift Hospitals and temporary Covid Care facilities are eligible as CSR activities under items (i) and (xii) of Schedule VII of the Companies Act, 2013 to promote health care.
