SEBI has amended the SEBI (Portfolio managers) Regulations, 2020 whereby regulatory norms governing alternative investment funds (AIFs) has been amended to facilitate co-investment through portfolio management route. Co-investment means investment made by a manager or sponsor or investor of Category-I and -II AIFs in investee Cos where such category of AIFs makes investment.
